Terms of Service
The terms for using this website and the Broccoli software. Plain-language summary now; the full text is finalised before launch.
These terms are a draft. The operating entity, liability wording, and governing law will be finalised and published here before Broccoli launches.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and the team building Broccoli(“Broccoli”, “we”, “us”). Our contact details are in the Imprint.
2. The software licence
Broccoli is source-available software provided under the Sustainable Use License (fair-code). Your rights to use, modify, and self-host the software are governed by that licence, which ships with the source code. In case of any conflict, the licence text controls for the software itself.
3. Using this website
You may use getbroccoli.com for lawful, informational purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
4. Accounts and communications
If you subscribe to updates, you are responsible for the accuracy of the email address you provide. You can unsubscribe at any time.
5. Intellectual property
The Broccoli name, logo, and site content are our property or used with permission, except where the source-available licence grants rights to the software. Nothing here transfers those rights beyond that licence.
6. Disclaimer and warranties
The website and the software are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. The software warranty terms are set out in the licence.
7. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. The final liability wording, aligned with mandatory German law, will be published here before launch.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms will be governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page. Material changes affecting an ongoing relationship will be communicated where required.
